Magdalena Marshal’s Blotter

The following are items taken from reports at the Magdalena Marshal’s Office

Apr. 24
An officer took a report at 9 a.m. of a Criminal Damage To Property where cattle were put on private property after a gate was cut. The damage was about $7,500. The suspect was interviewed and the case has been turned over to the District Attorney for prosecution.

Apr. 30
Officers were called at 11:05 p.m. to a residence located on South Spruce Street reference to an Aggravated Battery. Upon arrival three people were arrested for the crimes and outstanding warrants. Two of the suspects were charged with Aggravated Battery and Aggravated Assault resulting in great bodily injury. The victim was transported to Socorro General Hospital for his injuries.

May 1
An officer arrested a female at 1 a.m. on an outstanding arrest warrant from Socorro Magistrate Court.

May 3
An officer responded at 5 a.m. to a rollover accident located at mile marker 113 on Highway 60. A male was ejected from the vehicle and transported by Socorro Ambulance to Socorro General Hospital. The accident was caused by the driver falling asleep.

May 5
Officers were called at 2:35 a.m. to a residence on Kelly Road where a male needed medical assistance. Once there the male subject was taken to Socorro General Hospital for head wounds. The male subject was struck in the head by a car jack. A suspect was located and charges are pending.

An officer took a report at 9:30 a.m. of Criminal Damage To Property where the suspect broke out windows and destroyed antiques from rocks and steel being thrown through the window. A male subject was located and will be charged.
